Career vitae ; Technical demonstrator in Adults Health Nursing Branch since 2012 till 2015, then an assistant lecurer and theoretical teaching of the fundamentals of nursing for the first stage, and theorital teaching of adult nursing and health assessment of the second stage. In addition to the supervision of the graduate , research of the 4th stage students.besides working as a member in the examination comittee since 2017 till now.I. also supervision of clinical practice of the students of the 2nd stage at AL--Sadr Medical City and 1st stage at laboratory, in addition to the working as a rapporteur of fundamental of nursing branch for the year 2017 and 2018, and working in charge of the contiuing Education in college.

Abstract

Abstract: Objective: this study aimed to assess Objective: To assess patient's satisfaction with nursing care in Emergency department at Public Hospital in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate and to find out relationship between patients satisfaction and their socio-demographic data. Methodology: A descriptive study design (cross section) was carried out through the present study in order to achieve the early stated objectives. From period 15th of December 2017 to 20th of May 2018, in order to assess nursing care provided for patients in emergency department. A non-probability (purposive sample) of (150) patients who were admitted to AL-Sadder medical City, ALHakeem General hospital, AL-Zahraa teaching hospital and medal AL-furat Hospital / Emergency Department for treatment were included in the study. Data collected through using a questionnaire consisting of two parts: part I: patient demographic data contain (7) items, and part II: Clinical Data: Patient Satisfaction with Nursing Care Quality scale (PSNCS) consists of (16) items which distributed according to domains of satisfaction. Validity of the study instrument is conducted through a group of experts who have a years of experience in nursing field, In this study the data were analyzed by using of (SPSS) program V19 (statistical package for science service), and the statistical package. Below is the statistical data analysis methods to evaluate the study result. Results: The study shows that majority of patients are satisfied with nursing care that provided for them in emergency, most of patients are satisfied with nursing care in all hospital department, patient satisfaction significantly associated with participants’ education level. Conclusion: Generally, The study confirms that the most of patients are satisfied with nursing care in all hospital and there are significant relationship between patient's satisfaction with nursing care and level of education of patient.

Abstract

Assessment of Physical Problems Related to Chemotherapy among Patients with Cancer in Al-Najaf City Summary: Introduction: Cancer is considered as a main problem among people and a main cause of distress and mortality globally. Chemotherapy is the common cancer treatment that is used to kill the cancer cells and in addition to the benefit of the chemotherapy in the treatment of cancers disease. It can also lead to many physical problems. Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out in the Middle Euphrates Cancer Center / at Al-Najaf City. The study started from November 3rd, 2015 to June 26th, 2016, in order to assess the physical problems related to chemotherapy for cancer patient who receiving chemotherapy and find out the relationship between socio-clinical data for Cancer patients who receive chemotherapy and their physical problems. Sampling: A non-probability (purposive) sampling technique was used consisting of (101) Patient (99 female patient and 2 male patient) with cancer under chemotherapy treatment. Developed questionnaire was implemented by the researcher that consists of three parts including, part I: Demographic characteristics, part II: Clinical data and part III: physical problems related to chemotherapy. Validity is determined through a panel of experts consisting of (17) experts. And reliability of the questionnaire was determined through pilot study. The collection of data was done through interview method by the researcher with cancer patients. The research data was analyzed by the descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentage and mean of score) and inferential statistics (Chi- square). Result: The finding of the research has revealed that the majority of the study sample are female. The study result shows there is significant relationship between the clinical data (last treatment session, primary cancer site, stage of disease at diagnosis and World Health Organization performance status) with the physical problems related to chemotherapy. Conclusion: The study has concluded that the socio-demographic characteristics of patient that who undergoes chemotherapy has no influence on the side effect of chemotherapy, and the patients who received chemotherapy complain from many physical problems like anemia, nausea, vomiting, hair loss, neurologic and pain that make them feel tired and unable to participate in their daily living activities. Recommendation: The study recommends to involve the nursing staff in educational courses to improve their knowledge about chemotherapy side effect and appropriate interventions to reduce these effects. Provide assistance when cancer patients complain from fatigue and teaching their families to provide assistance to their patient at home in appropriate ways.

Effect Of Inhaled Anesthetics Gases On Health Staff Health Status In Al-Najaf City

Abstract

Abstract: Exposure of workers to waste anaesthetic gases in the operating and recovery rooms of hospitals is of concern because of the reported adverse effects of such gases on the health of personnel in this occupational group. Objectives To determine the effect of inhaled anesthetics gases on health staff health status (headache and dizziness). And to find out the association between the effects of inhaled anesthetics gases on health staff health status and their demographic data and job related data. Methodology, A Case-Control study is carried out in Al-Najaf Health Directorate / Al-Sadder medical city, from June 1st, 2013 to September 1st, 2013. A probability stratified sample of (29) from health staff personnel working in the operative rooms selected as a study group, and (13) from health staff personnel working in the other hospital wards selected as a control group, were included in the study. The data are collected through the use of semi-structured questionnaire, which consists of three parts including, demographic and job related data, data about headache characteristics, and data about the dizziness characteristics. Results and Conclusions The study results indicate that the health staff in operative rooms are more prone to have a headache and dizziness than those who working in other wards. And that there is a significant effect of the work place and the job title on the suffering of headache and dizziness among operative room health staff. Recommendations, The researchers recommend a further studies should be employed to involve a large number of health staff with a national level. An education programs should be focusing on how to manage these gases to reduce its effects on health staff health status.
