مختصر البحث

الوصف The present work was conducted to study the effect of ibuprofen (IBU) on histological parameters of male rats' liver for 30 and 60 days following oral administration. Fifty albino male rats are used in this study and they divided into five treatments each including five rats as control group, group administrated with 10mg/kg/day, group administrated with 20mg/kg/day, group administrated with 30mg/kg/day and group administrated with 40mg/kg/day of ibuprofen. The male rats were randomly divided into two main groups, comprising twenty-five rats for each group. The first main group was treated for 30 days and the second main group for 60 days. The animals were treated for 30 and 60 days following oral administration of 10, 20, 30, and 40mg/kg/day. The histological sections of the liver of the treatments at doses of 10, 20, 30, and

Agricultural land in the south of Iraq provides habitat for several types of living creatures. This land has a significant impact on the ecosystem. The agricultural land of Al-Hawizeh marsh covers an area of more than 3500 km2 and is considered an enriched resource to produce several harvests. A total of 74% of this area suffers from a high degree of salinity and chemical pollution, which needs to be remedied. Several human-made activities and post-war-related events have caused radical deterioration in soil quality in the agricultural land. The goal of this research was to integrate mathematical models, remote sensing data, and GIS to provide a powerful tool to predict, assess, monitor, manage, and map the salinity and chemical parameters of iron (Fe), lead (Pb), copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), and zinc (Zn) in the soils of agricultural land in Al-Hawizeh marsh in southern Iraq during the four seasons of 2017. The mathematical model consists of four parts. The first depends on the B6 and B11 bands of Landsat-8, to calculate the soil moisture index (SMI). The second is the salinity equation (SE), which depends on the SMI result to retrieve the salinity values from Landsat-8 images. The third part depends on the B6 and B7 bands of Landsat-8, which calculates the clay chemical index (CCIs). The fourth part is the chemical equation (CE), which depends on the CCI to retrieve the chemical values (Fe, Pb, Cu, Cr, and Zn) from Landsat-8 images. The average salinity concentrations during autumn, summer, spring, and winter were 1175, 1010, 1105, and 1789 mg/dm3, respectively. The average Fe concentrations during autumn, summer, spring and winter

الوصف This study was carried out in the agricultural area surrounding al Kufa Cement Plant in al Najaf Governorate, which is located in Al-Manatherah district. The study included the collection and analysis of soil, dust and plant samples as well as conducting some blood tests for the residents in the study area. The results showed that the mass concentration of dust suspended in the summer was higher than the rest of the other seasons in all the studied sites. The highest TSP concentration was recorded at location C, 1798.1 mg/m3, and the site D was indicated as the highest concentration of lead at 0.5623 μg/m3Cadmium recorded the highest value in site C within summer concentrations with a concentration of 1.2863 μg/m3.

The need for anti-steroidal analgesics has garnered increased attention among researchers in the field of pharmacology, particularly Meloxicam, also known commercially as Mobic. It is a typical painkiller. In this investigation, fifty male white rats were employed, which was carried out between September 2023 and October 2023 at the Animal Guest House, College of Science, University of Kufa. Testicular physiological measures were assessed for periods of 15, 30, 45, and 60 days following oral administration of 0.2 mg/kg/day, with the intent of determining how the cumulative dosage altered those parameters. Four groups of six male rats each were created at random from the total population of the rats. Each group was split into two subgroups of three rats each; one was the control group, and the other received 0.2 mg/kg/day. The rats were then euthanized after 15, 30, 45, and 60 days. The physiological and histological parameters of the testis cumulatively decreased with increasing dosage periods (15, 30, 45, and 60 days of Meloxicam 0.2 mg/kg/day) compared to control groups for each period (p < 0.05). The doses given were chosen in accordance with the size of the animal, as gradually increasing the dose value led to the appearance of effects on the levels of sex hormones.

مختصر البحث

The present study has been conducted in animal house/faculty of sciences/university of kufa between October 2021 and December 2021, fifty albino male Rats are used. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic (NSAID) drugs abuse are on the rise. Ibuprofen (IBU) is a popular pain reliever. The goal of this study was to see how IBU affected several physiological, biochemical, and histological Indications in kidneys of male rats for one and two months after oral administration of 10, 20, 30, and 40 mg/kg/day. The male rats were separated into two large groups at random, with twenty-five rats each. Each major group is divided into five subgroups, each with five rats, with the control group receiving physiological normal saline as its initial subgroup., the second subgroup was administrated with 10 mg/kg/day of drug, the third subgroup was administrated with 20 mg/kg/day of drug, the fourth subgroup was administrated with 30 mg/kg/day of drug and the fifth subgroup is administrated with 40 mg/kg/day of drug. Rats were slaughtered after the first main group received treatment for one month and the second main group received treatment for 60 days. The kidney's histological sections after receiving ibuprofen at dosages of 10, 20, 30, and 40 mg/kg/day for 30 and 60 days. shown extensive pathological effects including excessive infiltration of inflammatory cells, mainly neutrophils in the renal tissue with losing of section texture, along with blood vessel congestion (renal artery) and bleeding in the renal parenchyma were plainly visible in this slice fibrous connective tissue formation (renal fibrosis), also, atrophied glomerular tuft lesion with increasing in the glomerular space. also, the severity of virulence gradually increases with increasing concentration and prolonging the time of exposure.
