Abstract

The study investigates the effect of Rutin on physiological parameters related to the heart in male white rats subjected to oxidative stress induced by hydrogen peroxide, Rutin showed an effect in reducing the effects of hydrogen peroxide through a decrease in the level of cardiac enzymes in the groups that were dosed with it compared to the group that was dosed with hydrogen peroxide only

Effect of Rutin on the Histological Structure of the Heart and Some Biochemical Indicators of Oxidative Stress in Male Albino Rats

Abstract

Rutin demonstrates protective effects on heart tissues from oxidative stress, enhancing antioxidant levels and preventing tissue degeneration. Histological analysis indicated that Rutin provided protection against heart tissue damage caused by H2O2, showing no toxic effects at any group.
