ظهرت الازمة السورية كعلامة فارقة في العلاقات الدولية والاقليمية على الرغم من اختلاف الاطراف المتداخلة فيها, ونتيجة لتداعيات والتفاعلات الدولية والاقليمية التي ظهرت بعد عام 2003 واحتلال العراق من قبل الولايات المتحدة الامريكية والدول المتحالفة معها وتغيير النظام السياسي فيه ,حدثت تغيرات على المنطقة وتطورت بعد ظهور الربيع العربي وحالات الفوضى وتوسع نشاط المجاميع الدينية المتطرفة, اوجدت ارضية خصبة للتدخلات الخارجية والاحداث الداخلية التي اثرتا على الوضع السياسي والامني في سوريا والمنطقة العربية.
