The importance of the research lies in using exercises with different times and resistances to
develop the accuracy and performance of the two blocking skills in volleyball, which has
become the key to winning volleyball for players with a sound scientific approach compatible
with the players' training level. The University of Kufa noticed that most players are
characterised by their performance by a slow rhythm during the game, whether it is the
transition from defence or attack situations and vice versa. Avoiding the use of different
resistances that have an impact and relationship to skill, which is considered one of the keys to
development and from a better level, since the skill side is highly linked to the physical side,
hence the research problem, so the researcher decided to use exercises with different times and
resistances to develop the accuracy and performance of the two skills of blocking the volleyball
To reach the players to better levels and achieve distinguished results in the matches, the
research aims to prepare exercises with different times and resistances in volleyball,
Conclusions The different time and resistance exercises contributed to developing the masterful
performance of the skills under study for the better in the experimental group, The exercises
prepared by the researcher were suitable in their difficulty and intensity with the research
sample, In light of the results, the experimental group developed rapidly and with less effort as
a result of using exercises with different times and resistances
