An experiment was conducted by using pots contain 2 kg soil in sunshade agriculture college- Al-
Qad University to study of effect water quality of Irrigation ,content of soil moisture and period of
time in some physiological characteristics of germination the seeds of maize cultivar research

to the percentage of germination and seedling weight sequentially while the moisture content has
achieved 100 % water ready equal to field capacity higher values with significant differences compared
aqueous stress 50% and 25 % available water and reached values ( 77.47 , 67.78 and 23.56 ) % and (
9.24 , 6.04 and 3.37 ) g The percentage of germination and weights seedling sequentially. the timers
3days and 6 days was its lowest level of the values measured how long 9 days total values ( 34.19 ,
57.67 and 76.97 ) % and ( 4.04 . 5.81 and 8.79 ) g of the percentage of germination and weights
seedling sequentially .
