حصلت على شهادة البكلوريوس من جامعة القادسية كلية التربيه عام 1998م واكملت دراسة الماجستير في نفس الكلية وتخرجت عام 2000م بتخصص فطريات طبية عملت كمعيد في نفس الكلية المذكوره لمدة سنة فضلا عن عملي كمشرف للقسام الداخلية في جامعة القادسية نقلت خدماتي الى جامعة الكوفه كلية العلوم عام 2002 م ومارست عملية التدريس في المختبرات حصلت على شهادة الدكتوراه بتخصص الفطريات الطبية عام 2012 م من كلية العلوم جامعة الكوفة

The biological method of nanoparticles synthesis acquires very imp… ABSTRACT Objective: The objective of the present study is the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles using probiotic, Saccharomyces boulardii and evaluating their biomedical activity. The biological method of nanoparticles synthesis acquires very important area due to their cost-effective and eco-friendly benefits over chemical and physical methods of synthesis. Methods: AgNPs were biosynthesized by adding silver nitrate (AgNO3) into cell free supernatant of S.boulardii at concentration (10 mM). Results: The PCR was accomplished to molecular identification of S.boulardii using specific primers for (CAG) microsatellite repeat at locus YLR177w, foreword primer (Boul 3) and reverse primer (Boul 4). Biosynthesis of AgNPs was firstly indicated by the colour alteration of reaction mixture from yellow into reddish brown. The characterization completed by XRD, SEM, EDS and AFM. The XRD presented the size of AgNPs was 19nm.The SEM was offered the shape was spherical and homogenous and the size was ranged between 63-100nm. The occurrence of elemental silver was analysed by EDS. The AFM displayed the three dimensional structure of silver nanoparticles and the average diameter was 97.44 nm. Biosynthesized AgNPs showed antibacterial activity against multidrug resistant bacteria(MDR) of both gram positive and gram negative bacteria (S.aureus, S.pyogenes, E.coli, K.pneumoniae, E.aerogens, S.typhi, A.baumannii, P.auroginosa and P.mirabilis). All tested bacterial isolates revealed their ability to form biofilm in the form of biofilm using tube and Congo red method without treated by the nanoparticles except P.mirabils, A.boumanii and E.aerogenes,but when treated with AgNPs this ability was prevented and removed in K.pneumoniae, Ps.auroginosa and C.neoformans. The AgNPs at two concentration 1mg/ml and 2mg/ml bared their antioxidant capacity in vitro by scavenging DPPH free radicles, the largest inhibition titer found in the mixture of DPPH with biogenic AgNPs and supernatant of S.boulardii at concentration 2mg/ml (87.43). Abstract Dermatophytosis, commonly referred to as ring worm which, is a superﬁcial fungal infection caused by filamentous fungal species (Dermatophytes) belonging to three anamorphic genera, Trichophyton sp., Microsporum sp. and Epidermophyton sp… Abstract Dermatophytosis, commonly referred to as ring worm which, is a superﬁcial fungal infection caused by filamentous fungal species (Dermatophytes) belonging to three anamorphic genera, Trichophyton sp., Microsporum sp. and Epidermophyton sp. It is the most common superﬁcial fungal infection in the world. Due to the importance of high prevalence rate of above diseases, this study was conducted to determine the epidemiologic condition of diseases in Al-Njaf province. Total of 216 specimens of (skin scrappings, hair fragments and nail clippings) were collected. Also 138/216 (63.9%) specimens exhibited positive results in both direct examination and culture, and 32/216 (14.8%) specimens were negative in direct examination and positive in culture therefore only 170/216 (78.7 %) specimens yielded growth of dermatophytes isolates and considered as positive specimens. Microsporum canis showed highest frequency in 54/216 (31.8 %) isolates, while M. audouinii and Trichphyton schoenleinii in 8/216 (4.71%) isolates showed lowest frequency. Also 38/216 (22.4%) of M. canis isolates were in male while 16/216 (9.41%) isolates in female, both T. schoenleinii and M. audouinii were not recorded in female 0(0%). Tinea corporis was the predominant infection in 75/157 (47.77%) patients followed by Tinea capitis in 29/157(18.47%) patients. Gender is not statically significant with dermatophytosis, while a significant (P<0.01) correlation was observed with age, residency variables. Age revealed significant effect (P<0.05) on the distribution of dermatophytosis patients, the age bracket 1-10 years were highest frequency with 42/157(26.8%) patients, while age bracket 61-70 years were lowest frequency 2/157(1.3%) patients. Residency revealed non significant association in relevance with type of dermatophytosis, while significant (P<0.01) correlation was observed with gender. This study showed that there is a high prevalence rate of Dermatophytosis in Al-Najaf province. Therefore, due to importance of the disease, it is necessary to diagnose and cure the disease immediately.
