Abstract— This paper shows the application of four-dimensional
Concurrent engineering , During which two aspects are considered, the first side shows the necessary steps for the process of developing concurrent products, while the second side analyzes the contribution of each of the four dimensions of concurrent engineering after adding the fourth dimension to it, which is the product sustainability design dimension in reducing costs. The results revealed that the four-dimensional Concurrent engineering contributes, through all its dimensions, to achieving rapid access to sustainable products that satisfy customers' desires while reducing costs.
Finally, by focusing on the dimension of product sustainability, which is the fourth dimension of concurrent engineering, A new product that meets environmental requirements when manufactured is introduced. To keep pace with global trends in preserving the environment.
