The present study was caied out to study effect of some Plant Extract against virulence factors of Candida
albicans isolated from UTI patients, a total of 135 urine samples were collected from urinary tract infection patients. The
isolation and identification methods of yeast isolates were followed upon the morphological, cultural and biochemical
characteristics, in addition, the confirmative systems such as CHROMagar Candida and Api Candida were done for
differentiation among Candida species. and determine the virulence factors phenotypic to C. albicanswhich involved
(biofilm formation, phospholipase and germ tube). The results of this study show that C. albicansproduce all virulence
factors in this research included phospholipase , germ tube and biofilm formation. The efficiency of some plant extract
such as (clove, Eucalyptus and Casuarina) been evaluated to inhibition the growth of C. albicans as well as some virulence
factors such as biofilm formation, germ tube and phospholipase, which were studied in this research. Statistically analysis
results have been significance difference between the results of the substance concentrations and the concentrations of
the different other substances. Candida albicans is the most causative agent of urogenital system infection in female and
it is most common than male, cloveshows the highest effect against growth of Candida albicans and virulence factors,
while casuarina appear moderate effect, but Eucalyptus didn’t appears any effect on Candida albicans.
