About

I hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Baghdad/College of Science, and a master’s degree and doctorate from the University of Kufa. I work as a teacher in the College of Science/University of Kufa. I was a member of several committees, including the examination committee for five years, the university quality and performance committee for two years, the absences committee, the strategic plan committee, and the laboratory quality committee. And the student research discussion committee. I am currently a member of the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Committee and head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the College of Science.
My research interests: focus on preparing and studying the properties of nanocatalysts using green chemistry methods, physical and chemical methods, and their applications in:
1 - Using photo-oxidation with visible and ultraviolet rays to treat environmental pollution in all its forms (air, water and soil pollution).
2- Manufacture of dye and dry solar cells
3- The use of nanocatalysts as antibacterial agents, and in the preparation of organic compounds in the liquid and gaseous phases

Abstract

Titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) was Prepared at 180°C for 4 hours by using an unpretentious hydrothermal method. TiO was inspected by using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), x-ray diffraction spectroscopy, and UV-visible spectroscopy. This work expresses the construction of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) from TiO thin films with complex Ni-azo dye and azo ligand. The spectroscopic studies (Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-vis, and Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance ( 2 Incorporation of Nickel with Azo Dye and its Applications in DyeSensitized Solar Cells 1 H-NMR)) are used to identify the azo ligand and its complex Ni (II) to synthesize the DSSC . Current-Voltage (I-V) characteristics show that the DSSCs is the highest change efficiency for TiO 2 Eman H. Sahap*, Fatima A. A. Sajad, Hutham M. Y. Abstract

The present study was aimed to assess the effect of replacing copper in the brake pad with potassium titanate platelet (PTP) and ceramic fiber (CF). Chase dynamometer tests were conducted to compare a brake pad's tribological behavior when PTP and CF are added to the composition with that of the copper-bearing pad. The results indicated that PTP and CF demonstrated promising outcomes such as a stable coefficient of friction (COF), lower wear rate, and better heat resistance in copper-free friction composite. Scanning electron microscope (SEM/EDS) analysis was conducted to investigate the role of main elements such as Ti, Fe, K, O, and C on the formation of contact plateaus of friction composites. PTP maintained both continuous contact and smooth friction braking application of a brake pad. The uniform distribution of Ti on the wear track on the worn surface depicts the role of PTP in stabilizing the friction film formatio

Abstract

Titanium dioxide TiO2 and Nanocomposite (MgO/Fe2O3) have been prepared using a simple hydrothermal route at temperature of 180°C for 4h. A metal gold plate hanged with a gold wire in nanocomposite (MgO/Fe2O3) suspension solution and ablated with 180 laser pulses by means of the essential harmonic, of a Nd--YAG laser working at 1064 nm with pulse width of 10 ns, energy 800 mJ / pulse and 3 Hz frequency. Titanium dioxide TiO2 and Nanocomposite Au-MgO-Fe2O3 were inspected by using Field Emission Scanning, X-ray diffraction Spectroscopy and UV-Visible Spectroscopy, This work express the construction of dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) founded TiO2 and nanocomposite(Au-MgO-Fe2O3) thin films with strawberry dye are used to synthesis the DSSCS devices.,. Current-voltage (I-V) characteristics show that the TiO2/strawberry device is the highest change efficiency of % under 36.83mW/cm2.

Abstract

Nanocomposite (MgO/α-Fe2O3), MgO and α-Fe2O3 have been prepared using a simple hydrothermal route at temperature of 180°C for 4h. The products were inspected by using Field Emission Scanning, Electron Microscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, and X-Ray Diffraction. Inclusive characterization of the structures (MgO/α-Fe2O3), MgO and α-Fe2O3 with crystal structures. The photocatalytic activity of the nano composite, (MgO/α-Fe2O3) was examined over methylene blue (MB) dye under UV-Visible light irradiation. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated with several parameters involving difference of pH, catalyst dose, initial dye concentration and temperature. The degradation efficiency of dye on nanocomposite catalyst was detected to be 93% and 95% within 6 min of irradiation ultraviolet and visible light respectively designated a decrease in the absorbance intensity and concentration of the dye. These results show that MgO/α-Fe2O3 is appropriate for treatment of wastewater.

JournalInternational Journal of Scientific and Research Publications
Abstract

In this work we prepared a new catalyst from Antimony (III) oxide, Chromium (III) oxide which mixed in different weight ratio and supported on granulated alumina by suspension method . The film structure of prepared catalyst was characterized by X-Ray Diffraction spectrum. The physical properties also studied such as: porosity, pores size and surface area. The photocatalytic activity of prepared catalyst was studied by photocatalytic degradation of Neutral red dye by using sun light
