The primary molecular and cellular principles behind the utilization of cold laser therapy in vitro, and
vivo are being "lightned" by discoveries that are being produced quickly in several laboratories. It has
been shown that there are raises in cellular respiration, cytochrome c oxidase vigor, and adenosine
triphosphate. Nitric oxide release and a rise in the expression of reactive oxygen species have also been
noted. To significantly impact cell activity, it is anticipated that several transcription factors will be
activated, maybe via diverse signal transduction routes. In the present study, we review some of the
therapeutic effects of soft lasers on humans and animals. It was also noted that ATP has risen and that
reactive oxygen species have been produced. The evidence supports the idea that cells with high levels of
mitochondrial activity respond to light more strongly than cells with low levels.
