The current research is to study anti-inflammatory and mechanisms of anti-inflammatory activities ofthymoquinone (t), which is used in 50 mg/kg to investigate the anti-inflammatory and its activities. Fresh egg albumin model, leukocyte migration and heat induced hemolysis of human red blood cells (RBCs) were used to study the anti-inflammatoryactivities. Also, Hypotonicity-induced hemolysis was applied to evaluated the mechanisms of anti-inflammatory activitiescompared to dexamethasone and Piroxicam. As a result, t has made obvious reduction (P>0.05) of inflammation and suppressedpaw edema (PE) in rats induced by egg albumin. t was efficient for heat inhibition, in total leukocyte migration inhibition andin hypotonicity induced hemolysis of human red blood cells (RBCs) showing better anti-inflammatory profile that might bephytochemical constituents especially flavonoid
