This study was concluded to test the inhibition effect of hot aqueous extract for leaves of Nerium oleander L. on the growth of the bacteria Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli which was the bacteria E.coli more effected by the hot aqueose extract with an inhibition diameter 20mm in the concentration of 300mg/ml and 13mm in 150mg/ml while the inhibition diameter was 18mm for the bacteria Klebsiella pneumonia in the concentration 300mg/ml and 14.5mm in concentration 150mg/ml and noted that the mean of inhibition diameter increased with increasing the concentration of the extract . The study was showed that the possibility usefulness of this extract like operative factor against the diseases that caused by this bacteria or any medical bacteria that because this plant contain compounds which could kill causes of diseases. تمت دراسة التأثير التثبيطي للمستخلص المائي الحار لأوراق نبات الدفلة L. Nerium oleander على نمو بكترياpneumonia Klebsiella وEscherichia coli حيث كانت بكتريا E.coli اكثر تأثر بالمستخلص المائي الحار وبلغ مقدار التثبيط 20 ملم عند التركيز300 ملغم/مل و 13ملم عند التركيز150 ملغم / مل فيما بلغت نسبة التثبيط 18ملم بالنسبة لبكتريا K. pneumonia عند التركيز300 ملغم/ مل و5. 14 ملم عند التركيز150 ملغم / مل كما لوحظ ان معدل قطر التثبيط يزاد بزيادة التركيز للمستخلص . اظهرت الدراسة امكانية الاستفادة من هذا المستخلص كعامل مساعد ضد الامراض التي تسببها هذة البكتريا لما يحتويه هذا النبات من مركبات يمكن من خلالها القضاء على المسببات المرضية .
