Since soil is one of the main contributors to background radiation, it is
very interest to know the radioactivity content of the soil over the world,
natural radioactivity in the mainly soil comes from the 238U, 232Th series and 40K during creation the earth. Artificial radionuclides from using nuclear
technology also generates many of the long-lived radionuclides such as 137Cs.
Accidents at nuclear power plants and geological repository for nuclear waste
knowledge of the distribution of natural and human radionuclides is necessary
to evaluate the radiation hazard the concentration of radionuclides in soil and
found that differ greatly from one place to another.
