AbstractThe current study was designed to demonstrate the
protective impact of vitamin C against some fetal and
neonatal congenital malformations and antiinflammatory
non-steriodal–induced hepatotoxicity in
them of white rats ,this study was carried out in animal
house of biology department in Education Faculty for
Girls -Kufa university from 1/11/2019 to 15/3/2020, 24
white female rats with age ranged between (11-12) weeks
and weights ranged between (230-240) kg, in adition to
(24) white male rats with ages between (9-11) weeks for
mating, the female and male rats were placed together
for mating, after obtaining the required number of
pregnant female rats, these pregnant rats were
distributed to 4 groups , each group included 6 pregnant
rats ,the group1 was treated with normal saline solution
and was the control group, group2 was treated with
indomethacin drug with a concentration of 8.40 mg / kg
of body weight, while group 3,4 were treated with
vitamin C with a concentration of 85 mg /kg of body
weight and vitaminC with a concentration of 85 mg / kg
of body weight + indomethacin drug with a
concentration of 8.40 mg / kg of body weight
respectively, pregnant female rats in all groups were
treated orally from the first day of pregnancy, 3 pregnant
rats were dissected during 20 days of pregnancy, while
the remaining 3 pregnant rats were left to after birth of
each group.
The results of the this study pointed to that a significant
decrease (P <0.05) in numbers of total and living of the
embryos for pregnancy period (20) days and newborns

AbstractAbstract The effects of the antiepileptic drug depakine on some embyronicreproductive parameters and hepatic- histopathological changes of the embyros of pregnant female rats treated with this drug during pregnancy were investigated. 10 female albino rats of the Sprague dawley strian were divided into two groups, each group contained 5 pregnant female rats: group 1 was as control group and treated with the normal saline, while group 2 was treated with the drug depakine with the therapeutic dose (1.78 mg / kg of body weight) from the 4th day of pregnancy to the 18th day of it, on the 19th day of pregnancy the pregnant rats were sacrificed , thelivers and uterine horns were removed from the body to study the embyronicreproductive parameters, then the embryos were sacrificed and their livers extracted, the livers of pregnant female rats and embyros were fixed with formaline for histological
procssing and the assessment of stimulating histopathological effects by this drug. The results from present study showed a significant decrease (P <0.05) in weight gain of pregnant female rats , numbers of total and living embyros and the weights of the body and placenta and lengths of toal body and limbs(hands and feet) of embyros , while the results pointed to a significant increase (P <0.05) in the absorbed and dead embyros and the skeletal system of embyros suffered from many malformations during pregnancy period of 18 days in treated rats group with depakine drug comparing with control group, and the hepatic- histological study of the pregnant female rats and embyros indicated normal hepatic-histological structure of animal rats during pregnancy period of 18 days in control group , while experimental rat group treated
with depakine drug signified various patho-histological changes in livers of the pregnant female rats and embyros of the same pregnancy period .

AbstractThe study involved the isolation of enterococcus bacteria and diagnosis of different
types of diseases, where (190) samples of cows suffering from different diseases were obtain (34)
(18.1%) isolation of Enterococcus were divided into 21 (15.6% ) Of the blood, 8 (52.4%) and 3
(17.6%) of the vagina, but not isolated from the spinal cord samples. The study was conducted
on 2 isolates from the blood samples to become the number of isolates (36 isolates). And the
study showed that type E. Faecalis was the most common species, with 75% followed by E.
faecium (20.2%) and E.galinarium (4.8%), which also revealed the virulence factors of these
bacteria, which play an important role in their disease. Bacteria have the ability to produce
Haemolysin, Protease, Lipase, ß-Lactamase, and the formation of capsules and their ability of
Haemagglutination and of the effect of mannos on this process.
