JournalNeuroQuantology
AbstractIn this work was calculated energy levels and reduced electric quadrupole transition probability B(E2) for 50Fe isotope
using OXBASH code within the 1f7/2 shell and using the F754 and F7mbz effective interaction. 50Fe isotope contain 6
proton and 4 neutron out side 40Ca core in shell. In general, an acceptable agreement was obtained for a number of
energy levels, and the total angular momentum and ground state parity were matched for all these isotopes, also new
energy levels were obtained that have no practical values so far.

AbstractIn this study, the energy levels and the probability of electric transition B(E2) of the 60Ni and 60Fe nucleus were
calculated using the OXBASH code within the fp shell and the use of the effective interaction f5pvh, gx1 and kb3.
OXBASH is a computing code to perform a nuclear installation calculation based on a shell mode, Energy levels and
the probability of electric transition is acceptable agreement with available experimental data.

AbstractIn this work, background radiation (absorbed dose rate) was
measured in the air of buildings in primary schools in Al-Najaf governorate,
Iraq using portable radiation dosimeter (Inspector Exp. USA). Annual average
dose (AED) and excess lifetime cancer risk (ELCR) were calculated in all
schools under study. Background radiation results were drawn using a
geographic information system (GIS) technique. The results show that, the
average values of dose rate (μSv/h) were 0.061±0.009. While, the average
values of AED (mSv/y) and ELCR were 0.049±0.007 and 0.188±0.03,
respectively. Statistically, the study proved the absence of any significant
factor (p-value > 0.05) between dose rate with type of school (baby and girls),
and any significant factor (p-value < 0.05) between dose rate with date of
establishment of schools. The levels of background radiation were found for all
schools in the present study and the Najaf city can be regarded as having
normal levels of background radiation which suggests that it does not pose any
health hazards or radiological effects for the inhabitants of the study area.

AbstractReduced electric quadruple transition probabilities (BE2 ↓) in the mixed configuration of 64Ni with
two holes have been calculated within the nuclear shell model. In the present work modified surface
delta interaction MSDI within the model space (1P3/2 0f5/2) has been used for two holes neutrons
The closed nuclear core is represented by the Ni- 66 nucleus. We have used a theoretical study to find
a relationship between the semi-classical coupling angle θa,b and the energy levels at different orbital
within (hole- hole) configuration. we observed good agreement between theoretical energy levels
with experimental data, new values have been specified for both the excited energy levels and the
reduced electric quadruple transition probabilities (BE2 ↓), these values are considered as a proposal,
that grows theoretical understanding, of the energy levels and the expected transition probabilities
through, this work.
