Many researchers have introduced several generalizations of somewhat continuous functions. In our paper, we want to define a new type of somewhat continuous function by using the definition of a feebly ideal open set. The relationship of the somewhat continuous function has been established and justified by giving relevant illustrative examples. Specific characterizations and explanations of the somewhat continuous function have also been explored.

Weak continuity and nearly continuity in the frequency understanding are well-known as weak variants of topological continuity. We describe those two kinds of continuity in terms of the feebly ideal open set in this article, demonstrate that they are independent, and study numerous essential aspects of these two weak types of continuity by contrasting “weak continuity” and “almost continuity
