Dr. Shaimaa Raouf Tawfiq Al-Hasani
Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Dr. Shaimaa Raouf Tawfiq Al-Hasani is a lecturer in obstetric and Gynecology and a registered member of the Iraqi Medical Association since 2000 and has been licensed to practice medicine by the Iraqi Ministry of Health since 2000. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.

Academic and Professional Credentials
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), awarded in 2001.
2. Successfully completed a rotational internship at the hospitals affiliated with the Baghdad Al-Karkh Health Directorate from 2000 to 2003.
3. Fulfilled her mandatory residency training at Abu Ghraib General Hospital in 2004.
4. Practiced as a general physician in 2005.
5. Appointed as a permanent resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Al-Hakim Hospital under the Baghdad Al-Karkh Health Directorate in 2006.
6. Assigned to the Holy Najaf Health Directorate as a GP in obstetrics and gynecology from 2007 to 2009.
7. Successfully completed her senior residency training in obstetrics and gynecology as a postgraduate trainee within the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations at Al-Zahraa Teaching Hospital, Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, from 2010 to 2016.
8. Attained the Doctorate (Board Certification) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was conferred the title of Fellow of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations in 2016.
9. Appointed as a faculty member (Lecturer) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, College of Medicine, University of Kufa, where she has been serving since 2016.
10. Actively engaged in scientific research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
