An experiment was conducted in a private orchard at Abbasyia , Najaf Governorate during the growing seasons of 2010 on fig cv. Kadota . The branches at aged one year old were pruned at level of ( 25 , 50 % ) and spraying with concentration 150 mg/ L of Zeatien at 15 march 2010 alone or combination with pruning . The experiment included 9 treatments with three replicates . It is a adopted according to Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) . On 15 / 7 / 2010 take 2 kg fruits from trees . Fruits of these treatments were stored at 5Cand 80-85% R.H. for 8 days. Results showed that pruning treatments and spraying GA3 and BA treatments and their interactions caused a significant decrease percentage disease of Aspergillus niger , Alternaria tenuis, Penicillium expausum Souring , Alternaria fici, Fusarium solani , total decay , percentage of weight loss in the end of the storage compared to control treatment . There were a significant effect between treatment . Treatment of pruning of branches at aged one year old as 50% + spraying with Zeatein in concentrate 150 mg / L gave a significant effect and the best results for the year of experiment .
