ABSTRACT : Seven chelate complexes of Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) metal ions with new azo Schiff(4-(E-((3,5-dichlorophenyl)diazenyl)-2-(((3- (trifluromethyl)phenyl)imino)methyl)phenol (PAPIP) has been prepared from condensation between 4-(3,5-dichlorophenylazo) salcyaldehyde with m-( trifluromethyl) aniline. Organic ligand and its metalized complexes have been characterized by different physico-chemical techniques such as (Mass, 1HNMR and 13CNMR of ligand), elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis spectra, conductance measurement and magnetic susceptibility for all prepare compounds. Based on analytical and spectral data we suggest octahedral geometry of all chelate complexes except Cu(II) complex was appeared tetrahedral geometry.
