الخلاصة

This study was involved synthesis of new 2-Arylakylthio-5-halo-6-methyl pyrimidine-4(3H)-one derivatives. The structure of the target compounds were confirmed via (FT-IR,1HNMR and 13C-NMR spectral studies). The pharmacological activity of all of the synthesized compounds toward bacteria inhibition Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive bacteria) and Escherichia coli (Gram negative bacteria) was tasted and compared with the references Benzyl penicillin and toward fungal inhibition Candida albi cans also was tested and compared with the reference Fluconazole. The antibacterial results of some of the synthesized compounds shown promising results and some derivatives have activities similar of the references used. The anti-fungal results of the synthesized compounds show promising results in comparison with references drug.
