الخلاصة

In this study virulence determinants of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) from patient with septic arthritis infections of different age group were reported, emphasizing on the genes encoding sea ,hla and spa. 27 S. aureus strains were investigated for the presence of the genes of the sea ,hla and spa .27(100%) strains were found to be sea+ whereas the hla and spa genes were found in 26(96%) and 25(92.59%) of strains respectively. The finding that, among the investigated genes sea are present in all S. aureus Arthritis isolates encourages the development of strategies to specifically block the effect of this enterotoxin.
