ABSTRACTToassessthebeneθitandsafetyofcompositetherapy(TamsulosinandTro-spiumdrugs)intreatingbenignprostaticenlargementcomplain,mainlyover-activeurinarybladdersymptoms. OBJECTIVE:Thestudyhasbeendesignedto estimate the beneθit and safety of Trospium and Tamsulosin in pro-cessing of symptoms of excessive bladder and benign prostate hyperplasia(BPH). Patients and Methods: Prospective clinical trial study conducted atAl-Diwaniyateachinghospitalsandprivateclinicsfrommarch2016tomarch2017,topatientsBPHandbothersomesymptoms. 60patientsweretreatedwithTamsulocinand60patientsweretreatedbyTamsulocinandTrospium.RESULTS:MedianscoresofIPSS,OABSS,andQOLprovednobigdifferencebetweentwostudysetsbeforestaringtreatment(P=0.544),(P=0.287),(P=0.668)consecutively. Afteronemonth,bothtreatmentsledtoabigreduc-tioninIPSS,OABSSmedianscore;(P<0.001),(P<0.001). Followingthreemonths,bothtreatmentsresultedinsigniθicantreductioninIPSS(P<0.001),OABSS(P<0.001),QOLresult,(P<0.001)consecutively. Conclusion: TheseresultssuggestwhichtreatmentwithTrospiumandtamsulosintherapypro-videsbeneθitformenwithnatural-Syndromeoftheacuteurinarytractandbenignenlargedprostate.
