Negotiation is a vehicle of communication. It is a form of interaction among social interactants that is structured by certain aspects, norms, and tactics, and that is productive of social resources. This paper is an attempt to tackle the pragmatic nature of the term negotiational bargaining, and offers a theoretical background about the significant pragmatic issues and tenets of negotiation major process of bargaining. In this regard, it aims to define these issues and other relevant concepts providing a pragma-linguistic background in order to give a better understanding of negotiational bargaining as an interactional communicative process.
