الخلاصة

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the aquatic and alcoholic extracts of Datura stramonium leaves on the viability of the protoscolecies in the larval stage of Echinococcus graulosus in vitro. The results revealed that there are a clear effect of these extracts on the viability of protoscolecies, and the viability of protoscolecies was inhibited at a ratio 100% after 24 hours of the experiment with 15% g/ml concentration of the alcoholic extract and after 48 hours with the 15% g/ml concentration of the aquatic extract.
