A total of sheep's liver specimens infected with Echinococcus granulosus were collected from Al-Najaf carnage, then protoscolecies had been dropped and treated with deferent concentration (5%, 10%, 15%) of aquatic and alcoholic extract of Peganum harmala seeds in vitro. The results of this study revealed that there are a clear effects of these extract in killing protoscolecies, and the activity of protoscolecies was stopped(100%) at(8) hour of the experiment with 15% g/ml concentration of the alcoholic extract and at (24) hour with the 15% g/ml concentration of the aquatic extract.
