| Training for Iraqi Junior Scholars at LUDWIG MAXIMILIANS UNIVERSITY OF MUNICH
At the end of October four participants from the Universities of Baghdad, Kufa and al-Qadisiyah started on the Junior Staff Training at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. The Training is practice- and research-oriented. It focuses on the one-to-one mentoring by four members of the faculty staff of the Institute for Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology and the Institute of Assyriology and Hittitology and lectures and seminars from the current studying programme. The participants attend courses according to their research interests and thus have slightly different schedules. The Training is aimed at providing the candidates with a detailed insight into our studying structure and various methods, conveyed and taught by different courses within the study offered at both institutes of the LMU |
