I am an assistant professor in Conservative Dentistry at the College of Dentistry/University of Kufa, having about 17 years’ experience in dental education. I have contributed to its various continuous education programmes and research performance. I finished high school in 1989 with excellent grades and achieved a First place in the high school unified national exam. I graduated from the School of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad in 1995. I was given an Outstanding Achievement Award from the College of Dentistry. I then worked at the same school as a teaching assistant in the Department of Conservative Dentistry. I completed a Clinical MSC in Conservative Dentistry at the College of Dentistry University of Baghdad (1999) under the direct supervision of Professor Majidah K. Wali, who is a graduate of the School of Dentistry, Ohio State University, USA. I was employed as a clinical instructor at the same college, and later moved to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kufa. As a result of my research work and publication history, I was subsequently promoted to assistant professor. I was awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq to complete my postgraduate studies. I enrolled in a three-year non-clinical PhD programme in Endodontics in September 2014. In June 2015, I won the prize for the best poster presentation for research in the postgraduate presentation day at the School of Dentistry. I was appointed as the School of Dentistry PGR representative in 2016. In addition, I have been an examiner for the Division of Dentistry, the University of Manchester, to assess students in the CAT oral presentation in 2016. and BDS OSCE in 2017 I get my PHD in 2018
